Chief Apostle Lionel Stanfield, DD. Founder of Kingdom Builders United Association of Fellowship Churches
Apostle Lionel Stanfield is the Presiding Bishop of Fishers of Men Outreach Deliverance Ministries, Inc. Apostle Stanfield was called by God to preach the gospel in 1981. At an early age, he began serving under the leadership of Pastor Robert Bigalow, of Greater Paradise Mission C.O.G.I.C., where he served as a faithful Elder and Youth Pastor, walking in a great prophetic anointing. He was born on October 18, the second oldest of seven children to Cora Nell Gordon-Stanfield and Johnny Stanfield.
In June of 1991, God gave him a vision to begin a ministry in the City of Compton; it was then that he started what is now known as the “Fishers of Men Outreach Deliverance Ministry Inc.,” with his wife, Pastor Donna Stanfield, seven children, and just a few members. Holding services in the recreation room of the New Wilmington Arms Apartment Complex, well known for its drug sales, harsh violence, and gang affiliation, souls were delivered, and God increased the ministry by great numbers. In May of 1996, the ministry moved to 1809 Stockwell in the city of Compton and continued to flourish.
In May of 2001, Pastor Lionel Stanfield was ordained into the Bishopric. Shortly after, Bishop Stanfield received his Honorary Doctorate of Divinity through God’s Temple of Deliverance, where the late Mary B. Cotton served as leader. With an obvious apostolic anointing on his life, he was ordained as Chief Apostle of the Fisher's of Men Outreach Deliverance Ministry and founder of Kingdom Builders United Association, Inc. October 2003, officiated by and Pastor Doyle Hart of Academy Cathedral Church of Inglewood, California. His faithfulness has brought the ministry where it is today. Fishers of Men has grown and moved from 420 E. Compton Blvd to the Riverside location, 6700 Indiana Ave. Suite 225, Riverside, CA 92506. Now settling in our current location 2210 E Highland ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404. Chief Apostle and Pastor Stanfield, his wife of 41 years, have worked tediously with men and women of God, birthing great Prophets, Elders, Evangelists, and Ministers into the ministry. Through Apostle Stanfield’s obedience to God, several outreach programs have been established in the surrounding communities, including soul-winning rallies, street preaching crusades, and food distribution for the homeless.
The vision that God has given Chief Apostle is one that he takes very seriously. Being the founder of Kingdom Builders United Association of Fellowship Churches Inc., he is humbled with the honor to lead 22 ministries under his supervision. Kingdom Builders is now a worldwide organization. God has blessed the organization to become international, reaching souls from all over the world. Winning souls and saying, “Thus said the Lord”, are Apostle Stanfield’s two main concerns. Through fasting and praying, the vision that God has given him is truly being fulfilled. Apostle Stanfield is a great and humble man of God, and his heart is in the ministry.
Overseer Donna Stanfield, DD. Pastor of Fisher's of Men New Beginnings Cathedral
Dr. Donna Stanfield is the Overseer of Fishers of Men Outreach Deliverance Ministry. When God spoke in Genesis 2:18, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make a help meet for him,” He must have had Pastor Stanfield in mind, because it truly takes an awesome woman of God to stand behind an awesome man of God. That being said, she is the Pastor and Leader of Fishers of Men #1, the Headquarters of Kingdom Builders United Churches, Inc. She is the epitome of a virtuous woman, but she is also the mother of 7 beautiful children and grandmother of 26, and that number is still growing.
30 years ago, God gave Pastor Stanfield a vision of help for the needs of women. Due to the trials and hardships that God has brought her through. God gave her a heart to go beyond the boundaries of ministry to develop purpose in the lives of women all over the world.
From this vision, she started to have women’s conferences to reach women worldwide. The purpose of the vision that God has given her is to encourage women to become enlightened, stronger, and effective in their ministries and daily lives. Pastor Stanfield is truly an awesome woman of God who walks in a strong prophetic anointing and is being used greatly in this end-time generation.
